Modern Slavery Policy

1. About This Policy

Modern slavery describes serious exploitation such as forced labour, debt bondage, human trafficking, servitude, and the worst forms of child labour. Trificta Pty Ltd ("Trificta", "we", "us", or "our") does not tolerate modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain.

Trificta is not a reporting entity under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth): our revenue is below the A$100 million threshold that triggers mandatory reporting. We publish this policy voluntarily, because the risk matters regardless of company size and because the clients and partners we work with rightly expect their suppliers to take a position on it.

2. Our Business

Trificta is an Indigenous-owned ICT services company founded in Brisbane in 2020. We provide consulting and managed services across Information Technology and Operational Technology, and we build two software products: Onsitr (contractor management for Australian schools) and Cofferdam (infrastructure documentation and configuration assurance).

Our team is small, based in Queensland, and engaged directly under Australian employment law, including the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). We do not use offshore labour hire, outsourced offshore development, or third-party recruitment intermediaries. The risk of modern slavery within our direct operations is low.

3. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain is short and consists largely of established technology vendors:

• Cloud and software platforms: Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and security vendors such as Fortinet. These suppliers are reporting entities that publish their own modern slavery statements under the Australian Act or comparable overseas regimes.
• Hardware: networking and computing equipment purchased through established Australian distributors. We acknowledge that electronics manufacturing carries recognised modern slavery risk upstream (raw materials and assembly), and we rely on the published due-diligence programs of the major manufacturers we buy.
• Professional services: occasional Australian-based subcontractors and advisers, engaged under Australian law.

4. What We Do About the Risk

Our due diligence is proportionate to our size. In practice this means we:

• Buy hardware and platform services from established vendors and distributors that are themselves subject to modern slavery reporting obligations
• Consider modern slavery risk when taking on a new supplier, giving greater scrutiny to any supplier in a higher-risk category or geography
• Expect our suppliers and subcontractors to comply with all applicable labour laws and to hold their own supply chains to the same standard
• Pay our people and our suppliers fairly and on time, because unrealistic pricing and payment pressure are themselves drivers of labour exploitation

If we became aware of credible evidence of modern slavery connected to a supplier, we would raise it with the supplier, seek remediation for the people affected as the first priority, and end the relationship if the supplier did not act.

6. Review
